Abby joins the Mountside team having worked at its partner clinic, Bureta Physio since mid 2022. Prior to, and alongside her work in the administration and patient experience space, Abby spent her career dedicated to the dance and fitness industries since 2009. Professionally trained in New Zealand, she then went on to dance internationally onboard cruise ships for 5 years and also in Bollywood films while based in India. She has worked as an educator for the Royal New Zealand Ballet company and adjudicated ballet and jazz competitions nationwide. After qualifying as a personal trainer in 2015, she then combined her passion for fitness with her dance background and founded Studio Glow in Hamilton - a boutique studio delivering group dance and fitness. Despite her move to Tauranga in 2020, Glow still operates 10 years later, now focussed predominantly on teaching dance-specific strength and conditioning and wedding dance choreography. Having had her wee boy in early 2025, Abby adores being a mum and is aiming now to take a slower approach to life, creating adventures and memories with her little family and getting out enjoying nature, boating and traveling as often as possible!
